Mark Stark, President

There are many great things going in the Tucson Triathlon Club.

Triathlon gear and cycling jersey orders have been placed and should be here in plenty of time for the Tempe International Club Championship. If you didn’t get your order in, we ordered a few extra sizes, and Trisports will stock the extra TTC gear in the Trisports store.

The Firebird Team Challenge and Triathlon is this Sunday, March 7th . Anyone who is there is invited to the Stark trailer for pancakes following the completion of the Team Challenge. Ragnar Relay finishThis event should be a BLAST. The lucky lottery winners of the ½ entry fee will be drawn at the next club meeting on April 5th.

Jen Katz Lynn organized a SUPER SATURDAY WORKOUT for March 13. She invited everyone from TTC to join the fun. The day starts at the CDO pool at 9:00 a.m. for some swimming, biking and running. This will be a very laid back, casual event. Afterwards, we will head for breakfast/lunch at a nearby restaurant.

TTC is postponing the March 14th10k due to other events going on at Trifest. Trifest comes around only once a year, so you should check it out. I will keep you posted on the new date.

The Gladden Farms duathlon is ON !!! for April 10th. This race is FREE and open to everyone. For more details go to: http://gladdenfarmsevents.blogspot.com/

At least twelve club members participated in RAGNAR on February 26 - 27. The event was EPIC! It was a 204 mile relay run that started in Prescott and ended in Tempe. The team I participated on was a co-ed team. This event is an absolute do over and highly recommended for all who like to run. The scenery along the way was breath taking and the course was challenging.
